Our company recently commissioned Emma of Sun & Moon Studio as a photographer, to photograph a collection of Asian ceramics to prepare for auction. As the amazing photographer that Emma is, the images were outstanding. The images had to be of a certain resolution and size to enable upload to the auction system. Every detail was captured within the 100's of images that she took which are required for auction. Everything was done with respect & care of the valuable pieces, showing the professional that Emma is. At the beginning of 2022, Sun & Moon Studio was approached by Alan & Gill Finney from Connoisseur Ceramics to photograph a one off private collection of Asian Ceramics, which was collected for over 50 years by one collector.
The collection was sold in Auction at the end of April 2022 by Hansons Auctioneers with some amazing results.
The first two items shown on this page sold for thousands of pounds.
The first item is a 13th century AD Southern Song Dynasty Jian Hare's Fur Bowl, which sold for £56,000.
The second item is an Imperial Yongzheng (1723-1735 AD) yellow glazed bowl, which sold for over £10,000.
This was such an amazing thing to be a part of and to handle a unique one off collection which such history & desirability.
